Clyde E. Wooley
A proud 60‑year Mason of New England Lodge No. 4, devoted his long and meaningful life to the principles of brotherhood, service, and lifelong learning. A graduate of The Ohio State University, Clyde carried his passion for education into every chapter of his life, exemplifying the Masonic belief that knowledge strengthens both the individual and the community. His decades of dedication to the craft — through the Lodge, the Shrine, the Scottish Rite, and the Eastern Star — reflected a deep commitment to personal growth, moral leadership, and helping others do the same.
In a final act of generosity that perfectly mirrored his values, Clyde left an endowment to New England Lodge No. 4 to establish a scholarship program for Worthington High School graduates pursuing further education through college or trade school, ensuring that his belief in the transformative power of learning continues to guide and uplift future generations.
